About North Brooklyn Youth Baseball League

North Brooklyn Youth Baseball League is the biggest and best youth baseball league in Williamsburg and Greenpoint. Since 2018, we have been a 100% volunteer-run, non-profit youth baseball league built by local families, coaches, and community members who believe in creating a positive baseball experience for kids.

What started as a small neighborhood baseball program has grown into a thriving league with more than 200 players on 15 different teams across 4 age levels, serving kids from age 4 up to age 12.

Our league is built on the principles of teamwork, community, sportspersonship, positive coaching, and helping kids develop a lifelong love of baseball. We welcome boys and girls of all skill levels and experience levels. For some players, this is their first time picking up a glove or stepping onto a baseball field. Others have been playing for years and are ready for a more competitive and developed baseball experience, especially as they move into our older age groups.

While we love good competition and are proud of how much the league has grown, winning is not our first priority. Our goal is to help every player improve, build confidence, be part of a positive team environment, learn the game the right way, and have fun playing baseball.

As NBYBL has grown, we have also worked hard to create experiences that go beyond regular practices and games. Our players and families have taken part in special events with the New York Yankees and New York Mets, group outings to professional baseball games, on-field parades, stadium experiences, baseball clinics, All-Star games, team celebrations, and community events.

We are proud to partner with local businesses, professional baseball organizations, coaches, families, and community supporters who help us create memorable opportunities for our players. From tee-ball players learning the basics to older players representing the league in All-Star games, we want every child to feel connected, supported, and proud to be part of North Brooklyn baseball.

At its heart, NBYBL is about more than baseball. It is about kids learning how to be teammates, families building community, coaches giving their time, and players creating memories that will last long after the season ends.
