North Brooklyn Youth Baseball League offers four age levels designed to help players grow with the game. Whether your child is brand new to baseball or has been playing for years, our goal is to create a positive, supportive, and developmentally appropriate experience at every level.

Tee-Ball: Ages 4–5

Tee-Ball is a fun and welcoming introduction to baseball for our youngest players. Kids learn the basics of the game, including hitting, throwing, catching, running the bases, listening to coaches, and being part of a team. The focus is on building confidence, learning through play, and helping players develop an early love of baseball.

Farm League Baseball: Ages 6–7

Farm League is the next step for players who are ready for a more structured baseball experience. Players continue developing core skills while learning more about fielding positions, base running, making outs, and working together as a team. The games are designed to be active, supportive, and age-appropriate, with an emphasis on fun, fairness, positive coaching, and good sportspersonship.

Minor League Baseball: Ages 8–9

Minor League Baseball gives players the opportunity to build stronger baseball skills and a better understanding of the game. At this level, players begin to develop more confidence in the field, on the bases, and at the plate. They learn more about game situations, teamwork, and decision-making while still playing in a supportive environment focused on improvement and enjoyment.

Major League Baseball: Ages 10–12

Major League Baseball is our most advanced level and is designed for older players who are ready for a more developed baseball experience. Players continue strengthening their fundamentals while learning more advanced parts of the game, including pitching, catching, defensive situations, game strategy, and competitive team play. This level has grown a lot in recent years, especially as more experienced players continue with the league, but it remains grounded in positive coaching, fair play, sportspersonship, and helping every player improve.
